Tithing
Cheerful Giving

Tithing refers to the biblical exhortation to return to God 10 percent of God’s gifts.  Although  there is no strict obligation for Catholics to tithe, the Catechism of the Catholic Church expresses: “The faithful . . . have the duty of providing for the material needs of the church, each according to his abilities” (CCC 2034).

Gift Aid

If you pay UK tax on income or capital gains or on a pension then please consider Gift Aiding your donations. Gift Aid allows our parish to reclaim from HMRC the tax that you have already paid on your donations. For every £1 that you donate, our parish can reclaim 25p, and it doesn’t cost you a penny!  Please fill a form.

Personal offering
& donation

Loose cash offering, envelop giving, and giving by standing order provide our parish with reliable income.   Please consider giving by Standing Order.  It helps you to budget and record your giving.  It keeps your giving up to date, even when you cannot be at church.
